Who can blog?
Prospective bloggers should be fluent English speakers who can demonstrate knowledge of the area they are blogging about. Journalists, academics, policy professionals and keen observers are all welcome. No past blogging experience is required, however existing bloggers are welcome to join us.

Regular bloggers should be prepared to post at least once a month, and to take or find photos, embeddable video or other means to illustrate posts.

What should I blog about?
We are looking from blogs on a wide range of topics relating to the environment, natural products and eco-awareness including: Health, Food, Technology, Family, Lifestyle, Gadgets, Home, Garden, and General News. If you are not sure if a post you have in mind is appropriate, then feel free to contact me prior to starting it. Posts can range from lengthy reportage and analysis to quick commentary and annotated photos and videos.

Simply Green is an open forum for spirited discussion of issues and ideas. Have fun, be creative, be opinionated. Also please remember that here you are representing yourself and Simply Green. This doesn’t mean we we will vet your viewpoints, but we do expect bloggers to adhere to the same standards of professional and ethical conduct as if you were reporting a story.

Please refrain from excessive vulgarity or obscenity, do not use the blogs as a vehicle for personal attacks, and do not discuss Simply Green personnel or policy.

Please attribute any cited quotations, research, reporting or similar material to the original source, with a hyperlink if possible. Even if it is material from Simply Green, another  Simply Green blog, or your own external blogging or reporting, please cite and link.
