| Exploring the Energy of Spirulina | |

Spirulina is called the Earth’s healthiest Superfood. It is considered to be one of the cleanest foods on the planet and it is also packed with numerous essential nutrients. This simple, one-celled form of blue-green algae is believed to have appeared on the Earth about 3 billion years ago. “Spirulina has since survived without much evolution until today, and therefore it still displays primitive features, but it is a thriving life form with an extremely high vitality.” Nowadays spirulina is grown almost all over the world, but there are still many people that don’t know about the powerful benefits it can have on their health. Why should we have spirulina in our daily diet? This unique vegetable is full of other nutrients such as amino acids, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It is also a great source of enzymes, trace elements, and antioxidants such as phyto-pigments. Deeply pigmented spirulina contains phycocyanin, which is important in helping to build our blood due to its effect on our bone marrows’ stem cells. All these nutrients make spirulina an easy food for the human body to absorb, digest, and make good use of. Thanks to all of its nutrients and mineral supplements, spirulina is a great, powerful Superfood that can boost your immune system and support your heart and brain. How can you eat your spirulina? Spirulina is also fun for kids – it leaves a nice green stain all over your mouth and teeth (just be sure it doesn’t hit other things, because it really does leave a stain). There are also spirulina pills if you’re not into the idea of playing with the powder or you don’t like the taste, but I have to admit that I love the taste. Try some spirulina today.
