Prescription Meds in your Water?

Prescription Meds in your Water?Prescription Meds in your Water?

Reading the newspaper, watching the news the world is in a state of turmoil. Road rage, gender issues, racial unrest are only some of the issues facing us today. Could our water supply be contributing to our “confused state” as a human race? Think about it for a while…women wanting to be men, men wanting to be women, bi-polar, uni-polar, depression, anxiety and multi personality disorders…. All of these are on the increase ~ and yet there is a common trend amongst all of these issues… Meds…. Plain and simple… there is a prescription for each and every disorder both imaginable and even unimaginable!

The sad news is that these meds end up in our water supply ~ FACT!
So with every glass of water we drink from our tap we are getting a cocktail of pharmaceutical medications… cool huh?

While the Government Agencies claim these pose no major health risk many scientists are concerned. Do you know that there has never been one clinical study to determine the side effects or more than 1 medication at a time? And here we are consuming a cocktail with each and every glass of water! With homeopathic medicine the more you dilute a homeopathic remedy the stronger or potent the homeopathic becomes ~ so these trace amounts of antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers, and sex hormones found in our water supply could be playing absolute havoc with our system. Is THAT glass of water really healthy like we are (or were) led to believe?

It gets worse, as currently the sewage systems have not been designed to treat pharmaceuticals. Tranquilizers and anti-epileptic medications are so strong that they even resist waste water treatments!

While we can make a positive contribution by not throwing our medication down the toilet, the hospitals are also the culprit with many of their medications ending up in landfills and ultimately in the water supply. This is an environmental impact we have yet to fully realize due to lack of studies and available funding… It is a vicious cycle we live in… The more stressed we are, the unhealthier we become, the more medication we need, the more we pollute our environment and the more pharmaceuticals in our water. It is a never ending story!

Concerned? I would be too! One thing for sure is to think twice before you drink that glass of water from the tap! Bottled water is an option to consider, other than the HUGE environmental impact the plastic bottles pose. The best option and certainly the cheapest is to get a good water filter for your home or better yet invest in an alkaline water ionizer.

Until next time
